Foot Combat Tournaments at the Emprise of the Black LionSaturday, September 17There will be two heavy armored combat tournaments on Saturday the 17th. The first tournament will be for tournament circuit points, and will be a pooled round robin feeding into a sweet sixteen double elimination with a best 2 out of 3 finals. The second tournament will be a traditional pas, where the knights in attendance will accept challenges from the unbelted combatants (matched weapons, at the barrier, three unanswered blows, etc. . . .) and the winner will be chosen by the gallery. Lists and armor inspection will start at noon. The round robin tournament will begin at 1 p.m. and the Pas will begin immediately after. Banners are encouraged to add to the pageantry but are not mandatory. |
