We are four months out from the event, so consider this schedule a high-level overview and times will be refined before the event.

Thursday

early afternoon

Gate opens (this is typically around 3 p.m.)

late afternoon

Arena open for riding, acclimation, etc.

Friday

9 a.m.

Riders meeting at stable

Morning

Practice with lance game equipment. Authorizations. Preparation and coaching for riders, retainers, heralds, Ride before a Prince planning.

Afternoon

Combat activities including classes for Roßfechten, Mounted Combat, and Mounted to Ground.

Late afternoon

Grand equestrian parade.

At dusk

Equestrian meet & greet in the Madrone Pavilion.

Saturday

Morning

Emprise presentation to the judges

Then

Ride before the Prince

Then

Joust (inclusive wood and foam lances)

Then

Lance training games (rings, quintain, breaking quintain, paired passes, heads at three heights)

Then

Evening court, awards to be presented

Sunday

Break down and pack up
